Designed for Comfort, Safety and a Smooth Ride
High-speed computer processing is behind precise adjustment of elevator machine controls that eliminate noise and vibration during operation. To ensure safety during boarding, door sensors detect passengers and objects in the area near the doors.

• Advanced Door Controls
• High Accuracy Landing Feature (maximum±5mm)

Advanced Drive Technology
An exclusive elevator control system that integrates digital control circuitry into a high-accumulation LSI results in added performance and reliability. High-speed processing enhances motor control precision to deliver a more comfortable ride. The low-noise PWM (pulse width modulation) inverter unit incorporates the latest power IC module, while the cooling unit uses the highly efficient heat-pipe method to deliver even greater reliability and space savings.

Sophisticated Door Systems
Mitsubishi Electric elevators use a VVVF Inverter Drive control system to ensure doors open and close smoothly and quietly. A high-efficiency, one-chip RISC microcomputer enhances the doors’ sensitivity by calculating the weight of the door panels at each floor, the strength of the wind, and even waste in the sill groove. Auto Tuning provides just the right door opening and closing speed at each floor for safety and reliability. In addition, the learning-capable Door Load Detector offers high-precision door sensitivity, monitoring changes at each floor to allow prompt door-motion return when abnormal pressure is applied.

Sophisticated Door Systems

Multi-Beam Door Sensor
(optional)
Prevents passengers from being caught by the doors, using multiple infrared light beams mounted along the entire length of car door edge. Doors reverse and open if beams are blocked during door closing.

3D Multi-Beam Door Sensor
(optional)
Prevents passengers from being caught by the doors, using multiple infrared light beams emitted to the hall in addition to those used for the Multi-Beam Door Sensor. Doors reverse and open if beams are blocked or if a passenger or baggage is detected in the hall while doors are closing. Detection toward the hall is deactivated immediately before doors close completely.
