Successively to NexWay-S, ELENESSA was enhanced to meet our customers' growing demands for further energy-saving and wider specifications and applications.
The features introduced into NexWay-S are now available for ELENESSA as well. The Regenerative Converter and the Variable Traveling Speed Elevator System allow efficient use of energy and reduction in waiting and traveling time respectively.
Other changes include the extension of the rated capacity from 1600kg to 2500kg for the Series-IP and more options in glass arrangement for observation cars.

Mitsubishi Electric has obtained type-examination certification for spiral escalators based on Machinery Directive 98/37/EC; EN115 /A1/A2: 1998 on December 14, 2005. This enables us to expand sales of our spiral escalators to areas following EN code, in addition to our current sales territories around the world.
