In December 2011, Mitsubishi Electric launched NEXIEZ-MRL, a machine-room-less elevator in NEXIEZ series for the capacity 450 to 1050kg and the rated speed 1.0 to 1.75 m/sec. Through energy-efficient operation with compact, light-weight design, NEXIEZ-MRL emits less carbon dioxide than the conventional type. The NEXIEZ series also offers designs that meet various preference and lifestyle of customers around the world.

Mitsubishi Electric was Awarded Modernization Project of
High-rise & High-speed Elevator in France |

Ascenseurs Mitsubishi France S.A.S., subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation
for elevators and escalators business, secured the contract for high-speed
modernization of "TOUR CHANTECOQ" in Puteaux, a city close to La Défense
business district, west of Paris. It received 100% of the vote in the general assembly
of building management company "Cabinet L'Erable", finally approved by owners in
March 2011.
